Delhi's recent car bomb blast near the Red Fort has claimed 15 lives, with several others still hospitalized. The incident occurred on November 10, and investigators are now focusing on the mastermind, Dr. Umar Mohammad, also known as Umar un Nabi. A chilling self-recorded video of Nabi has surfaced, revealing his radical beliefs and justifications for suicide bombings, which he refers to as "martyrdom operations." In the video, he argues that suicide attacks are often "misunderstood" and presents them as acts of religious significance.

Nabi, a 28-year-old doctor from Pulwama, was driving the explosive-laden Hyundai i20 that detonated. He has been identified as a key operative in a terror network spanning Kashmir, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh. The blast followed a crackdown on a terror module in Faridabad, where authorities seized nearly 3,000 kg of explosives and arrested several individuals, including three doctors linked to the Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM).

The investigation has revealed that the group had been planning multiple attacks, with dates such as August 15 and January 26 being discussed. However, the premature detonation appears to have been triggered by the recent police raids that compromised their plans.

In connection with the investigation, Jasir Bilal Wani, described as an "active co-conspirator," has been arrested for providing technical support, including modifying drones and attempting to create rockets. Another accused, Amir Rashid Ali, is believed to have arranged a safe house and logistical support for Nabi.

The death toll from the blast has risen as three more individuals succumbed to their injuries in the days following the explosion. Authorities continue to investigate the network and its connections, aiming to prevent further attacks and ensure public safety.
