The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Tuesday, November 18, issued orange alerts for two different weather phenomena across the country. An orange alert has been issued for Madhya Pradesh, where the agency predicts severe cold wave conditions on Tuesday. Simultaneously, the IMD issued another orange alert for Tamil Nadu, forecasting very heavy rainfall, accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning.
Additionally, a yellow alert is also in place for a cold wave in several parts, including Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana.
