FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - Have a rain jacket ready to go for the morning drive; we’ll see periods of rain and even the (brief) chance for some sleet in far northern communities.
Rain moves in throughout the morning from the west, picking up more as the morning goes on. Marginal temperatures could allow for a quick period of sleet north of US 6. While the majority of 21Country will just deal will a wet commute this morning, communities closer to the Indiana/ Michigan border will need to monitor any slick spots that could occur (mainly on bridges and overpasses). Any mix up north will wrap up going into the midmorning, if not earlier. On-and-off rain will last into the afternoon, but we’ll gradually see rain wind down this evening.
Highs will stay in the 40s today and tomorrow, but the 50s
