Long queues of autos and taxis were witnessed at Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) pumps in Mumbai on Tuesday (November 18) for refuelling after a major gas pipeline was damaged and he supply was disrupted. Today is the third day that financial capital is witnessing the disruption in services.

The prices of Ola, Uber, and Rapido vehicles have surged through the roof, making it difficult and inconvenient for office goers to commute to work.

Mahanagar Gas Limited (MGL) told CNBC-TV18 that CNG supply to pumps will be restored by the afternoon. "Our focus is to keep the supply of PNG (household piped natural gas) smooth. We have started the supply to some petrol pumps, but the pressure is low."
