Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Tuesday called upon District Collectors to work in “mission mode” to ensure the timely implementation of ‘Mission Power’, the government’s flagship programme aimed at providing all-weather roads, electricity and drinking water to every village in Odisha by 2027. He was speaking at the inauguration of the two-day joint conference of District Collectors and Superintendents of Police at the Lok Seva Bhavan Convention Centre in Bhubaneswar.
Emphasising that public service lies at the heart of good governance, Majhi urged officers to stay connected with people, listen patiently to their concerns and address issues with sincerity.
