ASCENSION PARISH, La. (WAFB) - The Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office is warning drivers to expect delays as officials work the scene of an overturned 18-wheeler.

Deputies say Germany Road westbound is currently closed between Braud Road and Highway 44 due to the crash. Additionally, both lanes will be closed temporarily while a tow truck clears the scene.

There is no word at the moment on injuries.
