Following the recent Delhi blast that killed 14, former Union Minister and senior BJP leader Rajeev Chandrashekhar expressed concern over rising radicalisation. He cited a video by Umar un Nabi, a Kashmiri doctor alleged to be radicalised, who discusses suicide bombing as "martyrdom."
Chandrashekhar slammed the INDIA bloc, pointing at what he described as the Congress party's "open alliance" with Jamaat-e-Islami in Kerala and Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan's "welcome" of Hamas.
Chandrashekhar stated that such trends pose significant risks for national security and the safety of citizens.
On X, Chandrashekhar wrote, "Radicalization of Muslim youth and radicalized Muslim youth represent a real danger to India and all Indians."
