DES MOINES, Iowa —

The House of Representatives is expected to vote Tuesday on a bill that would compel the U.S. Department of Justice to release files related to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, with President Donald Trump urging Republicans to support the measure.

The proposed bill would mandate the Department of Justice to provide all documents associated with Epstein, including details from the federal review of his death.

Lawmakers from both parties have been pushing for this vote, and they anticipate securing the two-thirds majority needed for the bill to pass. Trump has indicated he would sign the bill if it clears both chambers of Congress.
