Lionesses boss Sarina Wiegman is not worried about the fallout from Mary Earps ’ autobiography causing divisions within the England camp.

Earps, who retired from international duty on the eve of this summer’s Euros, released her autobiography earlier this month.

The goalkeeper revealed in the book how she told Wiegman that she was rewarding “bad behaviour” by recalling Hannah Hampton to the England squad after dropping her for being “disruptive and unreliable”.

Earps’ book has sparked a backlash and Chelsea manager Sonia Bompastor spoke in defence of Hampton at the start of this month.

Former players and pundits have also waded into the debate, but Wiegman is not concerned about it causing a divide among her squad.
