BIDAR: An 80-year-old woman from Bidar, identified as Rahmatbee, died in the tragic accident in Saudi Arabia while on a Hajj pilgrimage. She was traveling in a bus that collided with a diesel tanker, which exploded, killing 42 Indian nationals. Another individual, identified as Abdul Ghani Shirahatti, a resident of Ganeshpeth in Hubballi, was also among those dead.

The woman had gone to Saudi Arabia for Hajj pilgrimage along with her group and was traveling from Mecca to Medina when the accident occurred. The bus was carrying a group of pilgrims when it collided with a diesel tanker, which exploded, causing the deaths of 42 Indian nationals.
