A man suspected of being a public official has been arrested for allegedly ordering a 17-year-old-boy out of a vehicle at gunpoint, after displaying a badge.
Reports conflict over whether Gerardo Rodriguez, 46, was an off duty agent with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) when he allegedly assaulted the boy in Temecula, southern California.
The teenager's lawyer, Greg Kirakosian, told CBS Los Angeles: "ICE agents are doing this when they're off the clock, at home, in their pajamas, they're using their badge and their gun, and investigating people in the neighborhood."
