COPPELL, Texas — Feral hogs are on the move again in North Texas — this time roaming the neighborhoods that sit along the city line between Irving and Coppell. Neighbors near Barbara Bush Middle School say they’ve recently counted up to 13 hogs on new security video roaming the area.
It may be the same or part of the same herd that left behind thousands of dollars in damage to school property and homes earlier this year, in January.
According to a Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD spokesperson, the hogs caused $5k in damage to the school earlier this year.
One nearby neighbor who got the brunt of the damage to their lawn told WFAA on Tuesday that they paid $4500 to fix their issues and re-sod their grass.
As early as last week, new damage was reported at the school; torn-up lawns and easem
