CLEARLAKE— Kori Ebenhack, Dean of the Woodland Community College Lake County Campus, shared some insight as to their current operations at the Judges Breakfast meeting on November 13 in Clearlake.
Sharing the institutional highlights like in person class offerings, new staff members, and increased student interactivity, Ebenhack noted how all of it led to their recent recognition by the Aspen Institute as one of the nation’s top 200 community colleges.
Ebenhack began her presentation illustrating the college’s increased enrollment, and the staffing increases necessary to keep up. Having hired about 15 new, mostly full-time positions, Ebenhack added, “That’s been a lot of what I have done.” Though they are still looking for faculty, including filling a full-time chemistry instructor posit
