Boston's Christmas tree was cut in Nova Scotia last week and on Tuesday Mayor Michelle Wu will receive it in the city.
Wu traveled to Canada last week to attend the tree-cutting ceremony.

"To the government and people of Nova Scotia, I am so proud and honored to bring greetings from the people of Boston and tremendous gratitude for this very special gift," Wu said at the ceremony. "This is a longstanding tradition that we hold dear to our hearts in Boston. I couldn't be happier to be here with my family to see Nova Scotia for the first time and to witness this very important tradition."
The tree coming to Boston this year will be a 45-foot-tall white spruce, and was cut down in Lunenburg County. The tree will
