FARGO — Local film theaters are ready to fly for the opening of “Wicked: For Good.”
The sequel to last year’s “Wicked” follows the evolving friendship between Elphaba, now labeled The Wicked Witch of the West, and Glinda. The film opens in theaters on Thursday, Nov. 20 and movie houses are planning festivities around the screenings.
The Fargo Theatre kicks off its screening with a pre-show party at 6 p.m. that features musical theater karaoke with prizes for participants. Guests are encouraged to wear pink and green and take advantage of themed photo opportunities and enjoy special popcorn toppings.
The Fargo Theatre screening of the 138-minute movie starts at 7 p.m.
The first screening locally will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Century Cinema. West Acres Cinema holds its first showing at 3
