A newsagent in a sleepy WA town has been revealed as the kiosk to have sold Monday’s winning Lotto ticket that is now worth a tidy $1 million.

The slip, purchased from Northampton Newsagency, matched the numbers needed to snap up Millionaire Medley’s division one prize.

The seven-figure windfall has brought excitement to more than just the ticketholder, with Northampton Newsagency owner Amanda Fraser thrilled to be celebrating the kiosk’s third division one prize in the past five years.

“We’re such a small town and it’s so exciting for us to have so many wins,” she said.

“We have no idea who it could be, but it’s always extra special when it’s a local.”
