Agartala, 18 th November 2025: The Khowai district administration today organized a grand “Unity March” to commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel under the overall aegis of the District Youth Welfare and Sports Department.

The march commenced from Khowai Kohinoor Complex in the morning after Khowai Zilla Parishad Sabhadhipati Aparna Singh Roy inaugurated the event by garlanding the statue of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose at 7 am and paying floral tributes to the portrait of the Iron Man of India.

DM Rajat Pant, who was the convener of the event, delivered the welcome address, following which the chief guest flagged off the “Walk for Unity.”
