CENTRAL CITY, Ky. (WFIE) - The Kentucky State Police say they are investigating a deadly crash that killed one person and injured another.

Troopers say just before 11 a.m. Sunday 31-year-old Benjamin Obannon of Bowling Green was driving north in the 13000 block of US-431 when he left the road and hit a culvert.

That’s near Central City.

Obannon was airlifted to a hospital where he later died.

His passenger, 30-year-old Angelica McGehee from Drakesboro was taken to the a nearby hospital for her injuries.

There’s no word on the extent of her injuries, and the crash is still under investigation.
