BOARDMAN Police arrested a 58-year-old Struthers man wanted on multiple felony and misdemeanor theft warrants Monday afternoon related to a series of shoplifting incidents that police estimate total $8,275 in stolen merchandise.
Alvin Patrick Traylor, who lists his address as Wilson St. in Struthers, was taken into custody outside a Walmart on Doral Drive.
Boardman Police Department officers responded to the location for a call about a man with active warrants. Officers found Traylor near the main entrance, and he cooperated with commands to get on the ground.
Police reports charge Traylor with four felony counts of theft and two misdemeanor counts of theft. The warrants are connected to multiple shoplifting incidents that occurred between July and October, primarily at retail locatio
