BELOIT, Wis. — A former high school teacher was arrested for sexual assault of a child.

In late 2024, the Rock County Sheriff's Office Detective Bureau was told of an allegation of sexual contact between a former student and a retired Beloit Memorial High School teacher.

Detectives found probable cause to arrest 61-year-old Andre DeKok of Beloit.

DeKok was charged with sexual assault of a student by school staff and with child enticement.

The Rock County Sheriff's Office believes there are more witnesses or victims to DeKok's behavior. They ask anyone who has information on incidents involving him to call their Tip Line at (608) 757-7911.

DeKok will be in court on Wednesday at 3 p.m.
