WHITESIDE Co., Ill. (KWQC) - Court documents show a man who was recently arrested in connection with threats made against an Illinois 14th Judicial Circuit judge believed she was Jack the Ripper.

A judge has ordered 30-year-old Alexander Lopez to undergo a fitness evaluation. Documents show he will be back in court on Dec. 5.

On Oct. 30 a secretary got a call from Lopez who talked about getting a gun and harming the judge, according to the documents. The secretary then forwarded the call to a lieutenant who spoke to Lopez.

The lieutenant said Lopez explained he was tired of people messing with his medication and he was upset that blood was taken last year when he was in jail.
