OVIEDO, Fla. – The Oviedo Mall continues to transform, this time with a crazy new store.

The former Sears building, an anchor store that closed in 2019, will become Crazy Hot Buys , News 6 confirmed on Tuesday.

The new store, a liquidation outlet that sells overstocked and returned merchandise from major retailers at discount prices, is scheduled to open Nov. 28, which is Black Friday.

At similar stores, the place of business is closed on Thursdays for restocking purposes, with prices of items set at a certain amount on Fridays. The prices of the items drop each day through Wednesday before the process starts over.

The mall, located near State Road 417 and Red Bug Lake Road, opened in 1998 and continues to change as shopping habits have shifted over the years.
