WILLIAMSBURG — POLICE ARRESTED 34-year-old Pei Yun Chung, a self-proclaimed food influencer, on multiple charges of theft of services for allegedly refusing to pay bills at high-end restaurants, according to the New York Post.
Chung targeted establishments including Peter Luger, Francie and Meadowsweet in Williamsburg, often claiming she would provide social media exposure in exchange for meals. During one October incident at Peter Luger, managers allege Chung offered sexual favors to settle a $146 tab before police intervened.
Chung was taken into custody on Nov. 7 at Francie after allegedly attempting to walk out on an $88 check, just weeks after leaving a $188 bill unpaid at the same venue, according to the Post.
