Two people in Pennsylvania got very lucky this week.
Each happened to purchase winning Pennsylvania Lottery Powerball tickets .
According to a press release sent by the Pennsylvania Lottery itself, a golden ticket amounting to $250,000 was sold at the Kwik Fill in West Mead Township, Crawford County from the Monday, Nov. 17 drawing.
Another from the same drawing — also amounting to $250,000 — was sold at a Wawa in West Goshen Township, Chester County.
“The two Powerball with Powerplay tickets each matched four of the five white balls drawn, 7-33-50-57-66, and the red Powerball 23 to win $250,000, less applicable withholding,” the release elaborates. “Without the $1 Power Play option, the tickets would have been worth $50,000.
“The Power Play multiplier drawn was five.”
