JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Kroger's delivery service in Northeast Florida will be suspended in January, the company announced Tuesday, as the grocer shifts to a streamlined eCommerce strategy aimed at cutting costs and boosting profitability.
In addition to the delivery service being suspended, Kroger said that following a comprehensive review, the company identified opportunities to optimize its fulfillment network by closing several fulfillment facilities, while monitoring the remaining facilities' performance.
Of the facilities closing, Kroger said its center in Groveland, Fla., will be closing in January 2026.
