ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. (WNDU) - A St. Joseph County man has been found not guilty after being accused of threatening local schools in a Snapchat video earlier this year.
Online court records show that 25-year-old Stephen Ullery Jr. was acquitted during a bench trial last week. This comes after he was arrested and charged with three counts of intimidation related to a video he allegedly posted on Snapchat in February.
According to charging documents, the FBI received a tip about a Snapchat user posting a video showing a Uzi-style gun with a text overlay reading “Time to go visit ur local school.” Snapchat provided law enforcement with information from the account that posted the video, which law enforcement ultimately linked to Ullery.
