The UK Government has issued an update over Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor's Duke of York title.

The disgraced former prince continues to hold the peerage given to him when he married his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson.

But there have been calls for steps to be taken in Parliament to deprive him of the rank.

It follows a bombshell announcement on October 30 which saw King Charles officially strip his younger brother of his HRH style and prince title.

The move came amid growing controversy over Andrew's links to paedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein.
