Srinagar, Nov 18: The Counter-Intelligence Kashmir (CIK) on Tuesday detained a doctor and his wife following coordinated searches at four locations across Kashmir in connection with an ongoing investigation into alleged unlawful online activities.
A police official stated that the raids were conducted in Srinagar, Kulgam, and Anantnag under court-issued search warrants. The operation forms part of a continuing crackdown on social media users allegedly working in coordination with handlers across the border to promote terrorist, secessionist, and separatist content, spread disinformation, and incite public disorder.
