DES MOINES, Iowa —

More than 1,400 Allegiant Air pilots will picket Tuesday.

That includes several in Des Moines. Des Moines International Airport is one of 22 airports nationwide where pilots will hit the picket line.

They're demanding Allegiant sit down and negotiate with their union. The pilots say they want a fair contract with better wages.

The picket will start at 10 a.m. and last until 1:30 p.m.
