DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) - A Davenport woman is charged after police say she shared child sexual abuse material on Facebook.

Aleigha Johnson, 31, was arrested Tuesday in connection with the incident, according to online jail records.

Davenport police said an investigation began after officers received a report about child sexual abuse on Oct. 13.

Police said Johnson made a copy of a child sexual abuse video from another person’s phone onto her Snapchat account.

Officials seized Johnson’s phone and Snapchat account, according to an arrest affidavit.

Then Johnson shared the video on Facebook on Nov. 5, police said.

In an interview with police, Johnson told them she shared the video with multiple users on Facebook, the affidavit said.
