Congress took its first official vote to release the Jeffrey Epstein files on Nov. 18, boosting Republican Rep. Thomas Massie and Democratic Rep. Ro Khanna's legislation past a significant hurdle.

The U.S. House of Representatives passed the Epstein Files Transparency Act on a 427-1 vote, compelling the U.S. Department of Justice to release all files in its investigation into convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
