PHOENIX — A house fire reported in west Phoenix on Tuesday has resulted in the deaths of two animals.
The Phoenix Fire Department said the house fire was reported near 105th Avenue and Camelback Road. When firefighters arrived on scene, smoke was seen emanating from the home's attic.
Fire crews began searching the home for any occupants while attempting to suppress the flames. Phoenix fire said all residents had safely managed to exit before firefighters arrived.
One dog was rescued from the home, but two other dogs perished, according to Phoenix fire.
No injuries have been reported and the cause of the fire is being investigated.
