GREENVILLE, Wis. (WBAY) - Allegiant Airlines pilots picketed at airports nationwide on Tuesday, including Appleton International Airport, as their union argues with the airline for a new deal.

Teamsters Local 2118 says over 1,400 Allegiant pilots are demanding an end to ongoing negotiation delays.

The pickets were intended to be informational and not cause disruptions at airports. Allegiant said it was operating its full schedule.

In a statement to Action 2 News, Allegiant said it’s offering pilots a competitive package, including a 70% increase in hourly wages in 5 years, starting with an immediate 50% increase, and a 50% increase in direct contributions to their retirement benefits.

Allegiant further said it’s been accruing a retention bonus over the last two years that would be paid
