Davis Park at Founders Landing is closed for improvements.
The project began Sept. 30 and is expected to be completed in spring 2026, according to a community announcement.
Improvements include seawall repair, river walk realignments, multiuse path enhancements, a custom playground, a skatepark, grading and landscaping upgrades, and a new parking lot south of the railroad tracks. New buildings will include a concession and multi-restroom building and a stage with greenroom building.
Traffic control measures and marked detour routes will be implemented to guide traffic safely. River walk users will be detoured to South Main Street at the north and south ends of Davis Park.
The project is funded by state grants and city funds, according to the announcement.
