BUFFALO, N.Y. — An Indian man, wanted by Indian law enforcement for murder, was arrested at the Peace Bridge border crossing, authorities say.
According to US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers, 22-year-old Vishat Kumar, of India, allegedly tried to enter the United States using a fake name and birthdate on Nov. 16. During a secondary inspection, officers said they were able to determine his real identity and that he was wanted in India for murder.
