The Met Office has said it will be 'safer not to drive' for some people amid a snow warning this week.
Wintry showers are expected to bring ' significant snow accumulations' to some parts of Britain on Thursday, November 20.
As much as 25cm of snow could fall across areas and could lead to 'substantial disruption'.
The Met Office has issued a n amber weather warning for snow, which will be in place from 5am until 9pm on Thursday.
Experts have said people should consider alternative transport and avoid driving in the wintry weather if possible.
