A longtime “Simpsons” character has died.
During the Sunday, Nov. 16, episode, the First Church of Springfield’s organist, Alice Glick (voiced by Tress MacNeille), keeled over in the middle of service. After her death, it was revealed that Alice left all her money to Springfield Elementary so the school could fund a new music program. Principal Skinner (Harry Shearer) informed the students that “a dead lady you’ve never met” was behind the generous contribution.
Alice previously died during the season 23 episode “Replaceable You” after being attacked by a seal robopet. She went on to appear in subsequent episodes as both a ghost and a living human. So, does that mean Alice could return from the dead once again?
