NILES, Mich. (WNDU) - A second man charged in a road rage shooting this past summer in Berrien County will serve time in jail.
According to our reporting partners at The Herald-Palladium , 26-year-old Sean Rader of Mishawaka pleaded guilty to lying to a police officer and was sentenced to 90 days in jail with credit for 13 days served, two years of probation, 150 hours of community service and more than $600 in fines.
Rader was initially charged with being an accessory after the fact in relation to the June 6 shooting near JD’S Truck Stop at U.S. 12 and Mayflower Road in Bertrand Township.
According to The Herald-Palladium, two people were hurt in the shooting. They both survived, but one victim had serious injuries while the other had their ear ripped by a bullet.
