KINGSTON, N.Y. — U.S. Reps. Pat Ryan and Josh Riley were among the near-unanimous group of House members who voted to force the release of the Jeffrey Epstein files on Tuesday.
The two congressmen said they favored the release of the documents along with 425 other representatives. Only one member voted against it.
Ryan, D-Gardiner, who represents the 19th Congressional District, said he voted in favor.
The Epstein resolution, which Ryan co-sponsored in July, was voted on amid mounting evidence “confirming President Trump’s close relationship with Mr. Epstein — including his DOJ’s sudden transfer of convicted child-sex-trafficker and Epstein accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell to a minimum-security prison — raising questions about the President’s potential involvement in Epstein’s crimes,” Ryan
