BLACK LAKE, La. (KALB) - A Goldonna woman was arrested on felony drug charges after a traffic stop, her third narcotics-related arrest in the past three years, according to the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office.

NPSO deputies initiated a traffic stop on a 2004 Ford pickup truck on November 17 around 10:05 p.m. on Hwy 9 near the Black Lake Bridge for improper lane usage and equipment violations. The driver, Katie E. Trouille, 40, admitted to deputies that her driver’s license was suspended.

She was issued citations for traffic offenses and NPSO asked if someone could take the vehicle. After 30 minutes of trying to contact a person to assist her, a towing company came to impound the vehicle.

When NPSO took inventory of the vehicle, they found a bag containing about 5 grams of suspecte
