DES MOINES, Iowa —

The U.S. House of Representatives voted nearly unanimously to force the Justice Department to release its files on convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein .

All four members from Iowa — Mariannette Miller-Meeks, Ashley Hinson, Zach Nunn and Randy Feenstra, all Republicans — voted in favor of the bill, which passed with 427 votes in favor and just one vote against. Five members did not vote.

The bill now goes to the U.S. Senate.

KCCI reached out to each member of Iowa's congressional delegation in advance of Tuesday's vote. As of the time of Tuesday's vote, we did not hear back from Feenstra or Iowa's two U.S. Senators, Republicans Joni Ernst and Chuck Grassley.
