KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - A Raytown man was sentenced in federal court Tuesday for possessing and transferring a pair of machine gun conversion devices.
Twenty-three-year-old Darius R. Harris was sentenced to 21 months in federal prison without parole. His sentencing was for illegally possessing and transferring machine guns.
Tuesday’s sentencing was ordered to be served in addition to a seven-year state sentence that Harris is serving for first-degree assault.
Harris was found guilty of selling a silver, Glock-type switch device to an undercover agent for $350 in October 2023. In November, he sold another device to another undercover agent for just under $1,000.
