U.S. Sen. Chris Coons, D-Del. believes files related to Jeffrey Epstein’s sex trafficking case won’t be released, despite President Donald Trump calling for their release on Sunday.

On Truth Social, Trump told House Republicans to vote in favor of releasing the Epstein files, a reversal from his months long position of not calling for their release. During an appearance on MSNOW , Coons suggested that Trump is backing the release of the files only because he does not think the Department of Justice will actually release them.
