SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) - Organizers with the Price Cutter Charity Championship distributed the golf tournament’s final round of checks after supporting local nonprofits for more than three decades.
Area charities received more than $525,000 in total from the tournament’s final year. Since 1990, nonprofits and the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame have shared the cost of putting on the PCCC. The tournament then used the proceeds to support the charities that helped organize the event.
The PCCC will not return to Springfield due to scheduling conflicts.
