EUGENE, Ore. - As Oregon prepares for its top-20 matchup against USC on Saturday, senior running back Noah Whittington remains one of the central figures in the Ducks’ offensive identity, but not just for his production, for the persistence that has carried him back into a leading role.
Whittington’s path hasn’t followed a straight path. His 2023 season ended abruptly after a torn ACL just four games into the year, cutting short a promising junior campaign and leaving his future uncertain.
The setback forced him into rehabilitation rather than game-planning, replacing reps with recovery sessions and a long stretch of work away from the field.
