Rutgers could get some reinforcements heading into its toughest challenge of the year.
Head coach Greg Schiano said Tuesday that the Scarlet Knights (5-5, 2-5) could get "one or two" players who have missed multiple games but have not been ruled out for the season back for this Saturday’s game against No. 1 Ohio State (10-0, 7-0) in Columbus (noon, FOX).
“We have to see how they progress during the week,” Schiano said.
Rutgers has listed 12 players as out for the season, but there are another bunch have missed multiple games without being ruled out for the year, including defensive back Davoun Fuse (first 10 games of season), defensive tackle Darold DeNgohe (last six games), safety Chris Joines (last five games), wide receiver/returner Dane Pardridge (last five games) and cornerbac
