The U.S. Senate on Tuesday unanimously voted to pass legislation from the House that will compel the Department of Justice to release all files related to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
The measure now heads to President Donald Trump’s desk who was mentioned in newly leaked emails last week between Epstein and a reporter saying the president “knew about the girls,” according to the Associated Press .
U.S. Sen. Katie Britt, R-Ala., released a statement after the Senate voted unanimously to pass the measure.
