Prevelly diver ‘bumped by great white shark’ at same spot wind surfer attacked
A diver in WA’s South West has reportedly been bumped by a great white shark while fishing for rock lobster near Prevelly yesterday afternoon.
The incident was reported to authorities and a shark warning issued after the diver claimed a 2.5 metre shark nudged him at around 4.30pm near the Gnarabup Boat Ramp, about 30 metres from shore.
A WA kitesufer being attacked by a great white shark off Prevelly last week.
The diver was uninjured.
It’s the same spot local Andy McDonald was windsurfing at last week when a suspected great white shark attacked his board, sending the 61-year-old into the water and into a tussle with the predator.
