CLAY COUNTY, Mo. —
A Clay County grand jury indicted a Kansas City man on Tuesday in the fatal shooting of a North Kansas City pharmacy employee earlier this month.
Antonio Serrano, of Kansas City, faces four felony counts: first-degree murder, armed criminal action, unlawful possession of a firearm and unlawful use of a weapon. Advertisement
The indictment was filed Nov. 18 in Clay County Circuit Court.
Prosecutors say Serrano, 29, shot and killed 42-year-old Rusty A. Donovan inside the CVS at 1914 Swift St. on Nov. 6.
Officers found Donovan behind the checkout counter with multiple gunshot wounds.
