SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) You probably deal with the occasional scam email in your inbox, but have scammers hit your calendar yet?

Thieves are scheduling a time to steal your money. If they have your email or phone number, depending on your calendar settings, they might appear at a specific date and time.

There’s even an alarm set on the calendar. The scammers scheduled an appointment with Norman Dias’ wife.

“It gave her a notification that her payment of $500 is going to come out of her bank account today,” said Dias.

Apparently, her Norton LifeLock membership is set to renew. A charge of $578.55 will be processed automatically.
